Marco Benevento is a prominent figure in the contemporary indie and experimental music scene, creating an eclectic blend of rock, jazz, and jam-band styles. Marco, considered a maestro of the keyboard, brings virtuosic skill to the table. From the Rhode Island School of Design, where he met bandmate Joe Russo, to performing in the Benevento/Russo Duo, to his solo career; his musical journey has always been characterized by exploration.

Marco’s distinctive sound is heavily influenced by a wide spectrum of artists, like Brian Eno’s ethereal synth-scapes, the electronic-infused jazz of Herbie Hancock, and the psychedelic rock of Pink Floyd. This unique blend of influences gives his music an electrifying unpredictability that feels both spontaneous and deeply thought out.

Ghost Funk Orchestra is an aptly-named ensemble from Brooklyn, NY, led by multi-instrumentalist Seth Applebaum.
